UNISON is the biggest trade union in the Eastern region, with more than 90,000 members.
Our members work in public services or for private contractors that provide public services and essential utilities. They work in the NHS, local government, colleges and schools, universities, the electricity, gas and water industries, police services, transport and the voluntary sector.
There are 71 UNISON branches in the Eastern region across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
UNISON’s priorities are: defending public services and the people who provide them, fighting the government’s cuts to public services and promoting equality for all our members.
