A year after opening its doors, the UNISON Bedfordshire Resource Centre is hosting an open day to further promote UNISON around the county.
The day will include:
- Information stalls inside and one at the front of the shop with current UNISON campaigns and benefits of being in a trade union,
- Government pensions information sessions from the resource centre’s case worker,
- Goodies for new joiners,
- Cakes, balloons, banners and more.
Some of the branch officials that have contributed to the centre’s first successful year will be around to talk to members and the public, as will a UNISON Eastern local organiser helping to get members more engaged.
