Branch Officer Training Weekend

7 – 9 April 2017

Crowne Plaza Resort Colchester - Five Lakes, Colchester Rd, Tolleshunt Knight, Maldon CM9 8HX

The courses are aimed at those branch officers who are newly/recently elected into posts. This is a unique and invaluable training and development opportunity where new officers will not only be trained into their role, but will also be able to network and socialise with officers from other branches undertaking different roles.

As this is a residential weekend all course applications must be completed on this form BOT Application Form 2017 final version (4) – please do not send in the generic course application form used for our other activist courses as inevitable delays will be caused as these will not be processed.

The cost to branches per applicant is £295:00, plus any crèche costs if required – see the attached form for details of crèche costs which have changed for 2017. Branches will also be expected to pay any other associated costs eg travel, as per individual Branches expenses policy.

NB Branch Labour Link officer training costs will be covered by APF monies and branches will therefore not be charged for sending elected Labour Link officers to this course.

Please get completed application forms in as soon as possible to the Eastern Education mail box. In many instances there is no need to wait for an AGM meeting to do this, particularly where your Branch Officer posts are uncontested. As there are nine separate courses scheduled to run over the weekend can you also ensure that the course title is clear on the application form.

Once forms have been received further information & registration details will follow nearer the time.
