With 20 Cuban trade union leaders in the UK for the Cuba Solidarity Campaign’s Unions for Cuba Conference, we’re delighted to welcome Santiago Badía Gonzalez of Cuban health union SNTS and Neisy Pino Lago public administration union SNTAP to Eastern region.
They’ll be visiting workplaces around Cambridge and talking at a public meeting on 5 November about 60 Years of Revolution in Cuba and what the Revolution means for workers today.
UNISON Eastern regional secretary Chris Jenkinson will also address the meeting on how we in Britain can show solidarity with Cuba.
The meeting will be followed by a short rum reception.
