18 March 2021 4:00pm–4:45pm
We’re delighted to welcome Dr Ed Garrett, who was involved in writing the new health and social care white paper, to two briefing sessions for UNISON Eastern activists.
Tell me more!
Are you wondering what’s in (or not in) the government’s recent health and social care white paper Integration and innovation: working together to improve health and social care for all?
Are you considering what the impact will be on UNISON health and social care members, current structures, workforce and service delivery?
Are you questioning the proposed legislative powers on the drive for integration and collaboration across health and social care?
Are you concerned about what all of this may mean for coterminous boundaries and any changes to the current system footprints?
Or are you just wondering exactly what this is all about and what might it mean?
Then you are invited to join Dr Ed Garrett, the Suffolk and North East Essex CCG chief executive and Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System executive lead who helped draw up the white paper, for one of two briefings for UNISON Eastern activists.
When is it?
We are running two sessions via Microsoft Teams.
- 11 March at 1pm to 1.45pm,
- 18 March at 4pm to 4.45pm.
Ed will deliver a presentation on the key contents of the white paper and then there will be a chance to ask questions.
Please note the sessions are for UNISON Eastern region activists only. Spaces are limited so registration below does not guarantee you a place.
