UNISON’s Eastern, South East and London regions are teaming up for 2019’s International Seminar.

We’ve got a packed day including speeches from US union organiser Stephen Lerner, UNISON head of international relations Nick Crook and UNISON assistant general secretary Roger McKenzie.

Speakers from Extinction Rebellion and the Palestine Solidarity Campaign will run sessions and there’ll be a panel discussion on the latest developments in South America including Joabe Cavalcanti (former trade union leader, Brazil Solidarity Initiative), Nick MacWilliam (Justice for Colombia trade union officer), Louise Richards (Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign Action Group trade union and communications co-ordinator) and John Perry (Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign Action Group), as well as speakers from Cuba Solidarity Campaign and Venezuela Solidarity Campaign.
