Migrant workers workshop

Many bad employers like nothing more than exploiting migrant workers. They take advantage of the hostile media and politicians to treat staff from overseas poorly.

But, by knowing your rights and standing together with your colleagues in UNISON, you can make real changes to the way you and your coworkers are treated.

UNISON is putting on this one-day workshop with support from the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants to help you know your rights.

It takes place over the One Weekend, our annual education weekend. Your branch will pay the costs of the course and help with any travel expenses so they need to confirm they’re happy for you to attend.
