If we’re going to make improvements in our workplaces, we need to get organised. It’s a simple concept, but it’s easier said than done.
This course, hosted over the One Weekend, introduces UNISON’s Organising to Win branch strategy and helps branches identify the steps to take towards embedding organising in their activities and building power.
Please note, the course is intended for branch leaders who will be able to implement the learning in their branch. There may be some overlap with last year’s Communicating to Win course, so anyone who completed that should look elsewhere.
What will the course help me to do?
The course will help you to
- Develop a broad understanding of what is needed for branches to do more organising,
- Understand the key factors in determining the strength of a UNISON branch,
- Identify the obstacles unions face and how to overcome them.
