Top of Pier Hill, outside Royals, Southend
University of Essex bosses have announced sweeping cuts: slashing 400 jobs and closing the whole of the Southend campus.
The campus is central to the local economy, bringing nurses, social workers and entrepreneurs into south Essex.
But despite identifying significant savings since the announcement, university bosses still want to push on with the closure.
Staff, students and local residents are uniting to save the Southend campus and say No to cuts.
Bring banners, placards and your voices to send the message loud and clear to the vice-chancellor.
