UNISON Eastern is offering a fantastic range of courses just for members in social care.

These courses will help you gain the skills to do your job more effectively.

As well as end of life care, we have sessions on dementia awareness, behaviour that challenges and record-keeping.

What will the course cover?

  • Discuss the physical, psychosocial and spiritual aspects of palliative and end of life care.
  • Determine the principles of end of life care in caring for an individual and their family.
  • Increase knowledge and awareness of the skills needed to provide palliative and end of life care.
  • Develop an understanding of the dying phase.

About the trainer

Keith has worked as a consultant in health and social care for 22 years. He began his career as a mental health nurse, then moved into adult nursing and continues to work as a ward sister.
