What will the course cover?
- Increasing understanding about the different types and causes of anxiety conditions such as OCD, PTSD and severe phobias;
- Recognising how anxiety affects the mind and body, and behaviours associated with this;
- Techniques on how we can reduce stress and information that will increase your confidence and effectiveness in our own lives and the lives of those we support.
About the trainer
Keith Jones will facilitate the session.
Keith has worked as a consultant in health and social care for 22 years. He began his career as a mental health nurse, then moved into adult nursing and continues to work as a ward sister.
