If you are a UNISON member who is interested in helping others in the workplace with their learning and development then this is definitely the course for you!
This online course is aimed at UNISON members who are or want to become UNISON Union Learning Reps (ULRs). The course is based around four x three hour interactive sessions with some post session work in your own time.
What will the course help me to do?
- Identify and understand the role and skills of a ULR and the statutory rights associated with this role
- Explore the benefits to members of lifelong learning
- Understand what learning agreements are and their importance
- How to use learning as an organising tool
- Knowledge around functional skills
When does the course run?
You will be required to be online x 4 Workshops from 7 February, 10.00-13.00, 15 February 10.00-13.00, 23 February 10.00-13.00 & 3 March 10.00-13.00
How much does the course cost?
There is a charge of £40.00. Your branch will fund this cost and they will be invoiced once you have completed the course.
