This May will see a massive round of local elections across the Eastern region.
People will go to the polls to pick county and district councillors, mayors and police and crime commissioners.
And as public-sector workers face a return to austerity’s pay freezes and job cuts, it’s essential that UNISON members make their voices heard and have their say in who sits in our town halls.
UNISON Eastern’s Labour Link officer Sam Older spoke to some of the candidates vying for your vote on May 6.
