UNISON is inviting expressions of interest from young Black members who want to become more active in the union to attend a training course to learn more about Black people’s contribution to trade unionism and to acquire some confidence skills.
The course will be held at UNISON Centre in London on 6 and 7 April. Expenses to cover travel, accomodation and childcare will be paid by UNISON.
If you would like to be comsidered for thre course you will need to register your interest with blackmembers@unison.co.uk by 15 February. You will need to include your full name, membership number, branch and date of birth*.
*You must be under the age of 27 on 7 April 2017.
Formal application forms will be sent out to those who have submitted an expression of interest in late February.
