Tell me more!
Former children’s laureate Michael Rosen has written more than 100 books.
He fell serious ill with Covid-19 during the first phase of the pandemic and was cared for in intensive care. He has paid tribute to the care and devotion of the NHS staff who nursed him back to health.
He will be interviewed by UNISON head of health Sara Gorton as part of our campaign for a pay rise of at least £2,000 for all NHS workers.
Michael will also treat us to extracts from his book Many Different Kinds of Love: A story of life, death and the NHS, which merges new poems with nurses’ medical diaries and his own reflections for an intensely powerful account of his struggle with Covid-19 and tribute to the NHS and the human spirit.
