This three-module course is designed to support branch activists plan a strategy to engage with environmental issues in the workplace and at a wider level.
What will the course cover?
- Greening the workplace — practicalities and planning, including branch organisation and developing a strategy to approach the employer.
- Sectoral impact and campaigning on a bigger scale, including understanding sectoral impacts of climate change and developing a local agreement with the employer
- Building alliances, including working with external organisations
When does the course run?
The course will run over three Tuesdays from 10am to 12.30pm over Microsoft Teams, with a different module covered each day. Participants must attend each session — 14, 21 and 28 November — to complete the course.
How much is the course?
There will be a small charge of £10 which your branch will pay.
