This course is aimed at more experienced elected Branch Officers and reps using different, creative learning methods this course will really get you thinking about issues of inequality with your hearts and your minds!
What will the course help me to do?
- Identify and understand what the key challenges have been for equality within society in the last 50 years plus
- Explore the impact of the current political climate on the equalities agenda in workplaces and society as a whole
- Identify discrimination and prejudice by language use, key trigger words and phrases
- Develop confidence in effective ways of challenging discrimination and making a difference in your Branch, workplace and wider society
When does the course run?
You would be required to attend on 9 and 10 March 2022, 09:30am to 4.30pm at the UNISON Eastern Bury St Edmunds Office.
How much does the course cost?
There is a charge of £60.00. Your branch will fund this cost and they will be invoiced once you have completed the course.
