About this job

Working as part of the Eastern regional core resources team you will provide administrative support to the head of corporate services and work alongside members of the core resources team. You will be undertaking a range of administrative duties to support our members and activists including often working to tight deadlines and being responsible for updating and maintaining accurate and confidential records. You will be using a range of IT packages and must have a sound working knowledge of using database systems, Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.  Experience of using shared filing systems such as SharePoint would also be an advantage.

You will be highly motivated and have the ability to organise your own workload and effectively manage your priorities. The post holder will regularly liaise with members, branch activists, regional and national staff and external service providers and will therefore need to be a clear and confident communicator.

You do not have to have a trades union background, but you do need to have an understanding of the aims and values of the trades union movement.
