The 2023 UNISON Eastern Labour Link annual general meeting and forum will be held online via Microsoft Teams. It is open to any Labour Link-affiliated UNISON member in the Eastern region.

The forum and AGM will
- Elect the Eastern regional committee for 2023 (committee members must be full Labour Party members),
- Review 2022 and plans for 2023 with a guest Labour MP,
- Receive an update from UNISON Labour Link Eastern regional organiser Sam Older and 2022 chair Tracy Grant,
- Review any changes to the regional Labour Link constitution,
- Review UNISON Labour Link’s 2023 calendar, including key elections, regional committee dates, national Labour Link forum dates, Labour’s regional and national conference dates.

If you would like to attend the online forum please complete the below form. The invite details, virtual link, agenda and further information about the meeting will be sent to you via email in early February. Please sign up by 31 January.
About the committee
The regional committee is made up of UNISON Eastern members who must also be full Labour Party members. It meets quarterly (or when need be) to link UNISON and Labour in the Eastern region.
If you wish to stand for the 2023/24 committee, please download and complete the form — including which seat you are hoping to represent — and return it to Lucy by 1pm on Tuesday 31 January.
Please note nominations for the equalities seats should come from the relevant committee.
Valid nominations will be contacted in February 2023 for expressions of interest for the role of committee chair for 2023/24, which will be elected by the new committee.
