How is coronavirus affecting your housing?

Chance to win £100 of shopping vouchers for taking part in our 2020 housing survey

The housing crisis is blighting the experience of thousands of people, affecting their ability to afford a decent home to rent or buy.

The crisis has worsened during the Covid-19 pandemic. Many workers and their families, affected by the economic impacts of the pandemic, have had to defer their rent and mortgages. Many are at risk of eviction, and even homelessness, in the coming months.

Despite the many challenges our nation faces during the pandemic, those working in health, social care, council services, schools and police forces are keeping the country going, saving lives and keeping communities safe. They deserve the right to a decent, secure and affordable home.

UNISON is conducting a survey to find out more about housing issues facing its members. Answers to the questions are anonymous. However, you have the option to provide your contact details, at the end, if you are happy for us to contact you to follow up on your responses.

Take the survey

The survey is for UNISON members only. Respondents will be entered into a prize draw to win up to £100 worth of shopping vouchers. If you wish to be entered into the draw, you will need to provide a valid email address.

UNISON will raise the issues highlighted directly with the UK and devolved governments and continue to call for more genuinely affordable homes for public sector workers, as well as better rights and protection for citizens.
