Our ever-popular summer school is back for 2022 with something for everyone!
What's on?
We guarantee:
- Lots of informative and inspirational courses to choose from,
- Opportunity to do one, two or more courses over the week of the summer school (subject to branch approval and courses not overlapping),
- Meet up with and network with both new and existing activists from across the region,
- Refreshments and lunch provided on site every day.
The activist training options are
- 15-19 August: New stewards
- 15-19 August: Health and safety reps
- 16-17 August: Reps recertification course
- 18-19 August: Further representation skills
And we have a selection of law courses each day:
- 15 August: Contracts of employment
- 16 August: Maternity and paternity rights
- 17 August: Work-life balance
- 18 August: Facility time
- 19 August: Unfair dismissal
