As part of the UNISON Eastern One Weekend 2024, we are offering a series of workshops to help members and activists get to grips with specific topics.
This workshop is for disabled members’ officers and UNISON activists who want to find out more about getting active in the branch and disabled member organisation in UNISON.
It runs all day Saturday.
What will the course help me to do?
- Consider how to campaign and get disabled members’ issues on the recruitment and bargaining agenda,
- Look at the law around reasonable adjustments in the workplace,
- Develop strategies to implement disability passports in the workplace,
- Help you develop an action plan.
