As part of the UNISON Eastern One Weekend 2024, we are offering a series of workshops to help members and activists get to grips with specific topics.
This workshop is for UNISON activists and members who want to find out about and get involved in delivering a Labour victory.
It runs on Saturday afternoon.
What will the course help me to do?
This workshop will look at
- What is the New Deal and what pledges does it contain?
- What does it mean to go canvassing and how can you add this into conversations with undecided voters?
- How to approach conversations on the doorstep as a UNISON Labour link activist,
- How to approach conversations at work with colleagues as a UNISON member about the importance of voting and about what Labour has to offer workers.
