Advanced employment law: age discrimination

12 November 2024 9:00am–1:00pm

Online

This half-day course is part of an expanding set of nationally provided sessions on discrimination under the 2010 Equality Act.

Intended for activists who have already completed an introductory employment law course, it looks at the meaning of ‘age’ under the Equality Act; the unique defence to direct age discrimination; and common age-related stereotypes.

It will cover scenarios where age discrimination commonly arises in practice, particularly in relation to redundancy.
