This nationally provided course will help seasoned activists gain a good understanding of contracts of employment and members’ potential rights when facing redundancy.
Intended for activists who have already completed an introductory employment law course, It will help identify relevant legal issues when dealing with casework, campaigning and negotiating.
It also covers unilateral variation of contract in the context of changing contracts; redundancy and TUPE. But it will not cover unfair dismissal in areas of capability or misconduct.
